this has been happening towards the last few days, is there any way to fixed this problem?

should i delete the files as mentioned?

Blue screen of death.

Do the following:

1. Right click on My Computer and select Properties.

2. Select Advanced tab.

3. Under Startup and Recovery, click on the Settings button.

4. Untick this box - Automatically restart.

5. Click OK to apply the settings.

Next time it happens, take down all the errors. Take picture if you are lazy.

sometimes it auto offs by itself for no reason and i find that it took a long time for it to start up again. anyone knows y?

If Winlogon is crashing, might need to repair Windows.

Repair is not reformat. It only restores Windows files. All your files will be there. Just that you need to reinstall all programs as the Windows Registry is brand new.

orh.... then i ask when we bought our laptop in our year 1 ah, they got give the window xp disc as mentioned in the link u gave me?

No XP disk, but just the Recovery Disk. You would not want to use it, because this equals to reformatting and reinstalling XP.

oh ya is there any software that can detect the temperature heat in the laptop
?(and for cooling it down as well)(other than laptop fan as i dun find it useful)

If you reformat, everything will be gone. However, I don't guarantee that your problems will be solved. Acer is known to be problematic after their warranty expires.

Detect temperatures - Speedfan. Google it. First few results will be your answer.

Programs don't cool down a laptop. You can buy a cooler. USB or those requires adapter. Can be found in Popular or any IT accessories shop.

I think internal hardware, ram etc loose contact, the inside become loose. I have these problem b4. If u still have warranty, called the technician. He will come and help you. But my is desktop pc. I think nowaday internal hardware assemble by acer is very lousy. My case, he come open up the pc, take out a few rectangular green plate and use eraser to rub the contact, and put back. Less than 30 min, everything is normal.

I have came to know of some laptop users who undervolt and underclock their CPUs so that it will be able to run cooler and a longer battery life as well. Of course, the direct downside would be decreased processor performance.
