Warcraft III update

I have a problem installing the new patch...

Can someone give me details on how to solve the problem?

This patch upgrades Warcraft III The Frozen Throne from the previous version.

Registry error loading key 'Warcraft III\InstallPath'
The system cannot find the file specified.

RESULT: Patch failed

Did you install WC3 in a proper manner? Try re-installing it on an Admin account in Windows and use the full patch instead.

are you using no cd loader? if you are, then you wont be able to update. you'll have to get the original .exe somehow to make the patch work. or, just simply reinstall.

i presume that u

1. transferred warcraft 3 from a location to another location

2. open a warcraft 3 from an external drive

just correct the install path in your registry and u will be able to run the update.

1. go to start>run>regedit

2. Hkey_current_user>Software>Blizzard Entertainment>Warcraft III

correct the dword "InstallPath" to the path where your war3.exe exist.

for example. "InstallPath"="D:\\games\\war3"

if your cant find "installparth" key,, create a new dwoard and name it: InstallPath

and than insert the location of your war3.exe

issit a cracked version?

u have to retract the crack files to the original installed ones before patching.

simply copy those files before overwriting with crack files anytime.

im still at 1.20c, i can't help u much.

hw abt u update ur patch thur Bnet..

he cannot update thru bnet

after finish dl-ing the patch, when frozen throne restarts and starts updating, that error would pop out
