i just want to hear it!!!

i tried to play something from a website and some 'External Protocol Request' pops up...

' An external application must be launched to handle mms:links.

requested link: mms://blah blah blah.wma
application: windows media player'

err....how do i get this to work...?? =\

thanks

Just "save as target"and open lo.

Some other browsers?

If so, it's a security feature. After some idiot decides to launch some virus this way, because these protocols are not checked rigorously.

Also kindly update all your programs, especially if you have Quicktime and/or Realplayer installed. There are exploits around and they are nasty.

Just "save as target"and open lo.

i tried that...doesnt work oso. the same thing pops up...=\

eh....FF Is the oni browser i use leh....mi will see if updating it will help....

Try this. Open up Windows Media Player, go to File > Open URL... (or Ctrl+U) and copy and paste in the full MMS URL into it and see if it works.
