Hi,when ever i go to Ngee Ann poly's website at http://www.np.edu.sg/Pages/default.aspx,a pop up login box will always ask me to sign in to www.portal.np.edu.sg.

Im using Mozilla Firefox and even though i clear the cookies and all countless time, the pop up box keep recurring.

Also, when i used Mozilla Firefox on another PC,the pop up login box didnt appear. Both PC share the same IP address.

Anyone know how to solve this irritating problem?

ndmmxiaomayi SG

Not sure why. Have someone used this PC before?

If im right,my cousin logged in to Ngee Ann's internal net prior to this problem. But i cleared the cookies and all after that

ndmmxiaomayi SG

Hmm... check if there's any VPN installed.

ceecookie SG

There's nothing he installed. He simply checked his mail, notices thats all

Clear cookies might not work. Have you cleared the temp files and cache?

Does using IE have such an issue? If no, it should the cache that's causing problems.

ceecookie SG

Yes,IE does not have the problem, which as you says pinpoint the problem to Firefox. But,i cleared the cache(and cookies via Clear Private Data option) to no avail.

ndmmxiaomayi SG

Is the Clear Private Data options set to clear cache? By default, Firefox doesn’t do that.

ngee ann poly doesn't want you la. Laughing

Most probably is that your browser is not accepting cookies from the site. Tried checking the related options already?

ceecookie SG

Yes Yes Yes...omg this is irritating me while i go looking for course info Mad

ceecookie SG

Setting was set to Accept all cookies from website(no exception) and set to be deleted when FF is closed
