OK, it did the above steps.
But I realised my mistake.
I actually copied a picture from a powerpoint slide and place it in
my desktop.
There was an option of putting it in an active directory.
So I clicked yes.
Under the Display Properties,
I clicked on the web tab and under the web pages was a check box
ticked.
file:///C:/DOCUME~1/*****/LOCALS~1/TEMP/msohtml1/01/clip_image002.jpg
So I untick it. Then the shading is gone.
My mistake also: It is not bold, it is the shading.
