USB mouse conflict with WLAN?

hi there! I got this prob with my wireless connection. I am using windows vista. I think i got post this prob b4 in here.. I always get disconnected from the net after 5 mins of usage, and internet back to normal soon.. everytime when i use the com, this will happen.. damn pek chek.. funny thing is, recently i realised that when i did not use my USB mouse, and use my touchpad instead as a pointing device, the disconnection prob disappeared.. At first i thought is coincidence.. but its not.. y is this so? does USB mouse conflict with my wireless lan card?

Can you try using another USB mouse? Also try on another port.

Laptop or desktop PC?

Using wireless card/adapter?

it is a compaq laptop.. using built in wireless card.. i tried plugging the mouse into other USB ports, still the same prob.. and i change the mouse, still the same prob.. wads going on?

Since it's a laptop... a lot of parts are integrated on the motherboard. Might be an interference.

Can you check HP website for any driver updates. Update your USB and wireless drivers, restart the computer.

Nothing works, bring to Compaq and ask them to check the hardware.
