Make sure it is not set to Read-only mode. Try right-clicking
the file, go to Properties and look for the relevant checkboxes
under the Attributes section at the bottom and uncheck them if they
are checked. If it still doesn't work for you, check whether there
are other applications which are reading off or writing to the same
file.
