What about before setting the display picture? Anything you did before setting the display picture? It's quite unlikely that it corrupted system files.

If i remember correctly 2-3 weeks(could be longer) ago i think i still can use the display properties to see something.

I dun really remember wat i did.

erm, i think i deleted some unknown file inside my Document.

I forget the file name. Could it be the file tat i deleted??

Start > Run and type in sfc /scannow

Press Enter

Then update Windows.

If you do that, you won't lose your data, but all your programs will be lost.

hello, i have the same problem, i did a system restore and it worked but after i installed Telus Antivirus , anti spywere and pop up blocked it doesnt work anymore, although i can acess my resolution settings and scrreen saver, i can’t acess the panel one or desktop image

Never heard of this antivirus program before. Uninstall it and see if it helps.
