Can't read the CD?

what're the possible reasons? cause i don't think it's the problem with my CDDrive, as some CDs can work, and some CDs can't.

Assuming it isn't the problem with the CD itself, what're the possible things that can be wrong?

Any settings i can change? =X

Sounds like the time to dump your optical drive and get a new one. You may want to try upgrading its firmware but I doubt it helps much. How old is it already?

if it’s laptop, i recommend u go back to the laptop’s co. and ask them to repair for u (if still have warranty)...
