To hamzuay,
Yup, i did say that... its thick sauce in the front, buffered down the mid lanes and dry at the back with the outside, meaning 5-10 board and the 37-40 board is very lightly oiled... basically a very good lane if u wanna strike... then again i have see some of the old birds throw ancient balls like the PC3 without much or any hand and still shoot from 20 to 3 and then return to the pocket...
Besides, i've played with their so called youth bowlers, they are devastating at Strikers but they totally suck when they go out to bowl.... Twisted Evil

Actually, Mr Tifosi is right: tweeners are bowlers who are in-between strokers and crankers, hence the name. A famous example is Chris Barnes (although he finds the term amusing). Mr Prataman is simply a low-track bowler.

Talking about low track, I did try that style awhile, however I just can't get the ball speed. The time to reach to head pin is a hilarious 4 seconds.

Hi...
Firstly, i am guessing he is a southpaw...
Secondly, if he is a newbie then his average is low but he likes shooting that line that he has described.
Thirdly, AMK Strikers Bowl Sucks biggie time.... they oil the lanes during their in-house competitons to wat will be the optimum oiling for their so-called youth bowlers there...

Its so very easy to hook there, trust me, i can shoot a house ball to the first board and it will still come back in... sigh.... Its definitely no a place to train for competitons but if u wanna see lotsa strikes in your game, go there and get ur totally unrealistic scores...

i thought you ppl like oily lanes? hmm, blur alreadi, does oily lanes means lousy?

No, it all depends...... and it's a long long story Surprised

Once upon a time...

Mage^_^ SG

Why?? The company rip his off ah?? so must check?... geez..
Shocked Shocked Shocked

Mage^_^ SG

Oily lanes are high in cholestrol... we must cut down on our oil in-take... otherwise our bowling balls will get heart attack and clogged ateries... see? Twisted Evil Razz Razz

Mage^_^ SG

Well, i dunno about my speed... i only know that my average time of ball speed from release to hitting the pins is about 2.36 seconds.. then again i'm a spinner kekekeke...
Maybe should try if can hit the pins in 1 sec....

Ding SG

Someone is offering me a Complete Chaos 15 lbs for 40 bux. Catch?

harmzuay SG

Tifosi

That price is alright. But you have to made certain that the ball is in good condition and factor in the plug/drilling costs, which would be another $50+ at least. And note how many times has the ball been used and drilled.

No price is low enough for a ball in bad condition.

tIfosI SG

Yes, but I have heard lots of horror stories about the Chaos losing all its hook within a couple of years. Its been drilled once.

Any idea how much it will take to recondition/polish/sand the ball?

harmzuay SG

Tifosi

The Chao's coverstock is more prone to wearing out quicker than all the rest. If you want to stay away from TEC coverstock, then too bad. But all balls die sometime. By the way, TEC coverstocks wear out in about 100 - 150 games, NOT a few years. I suppose a regular cleaning regime will lengthen the span of duty, but don't expect miracles.

Just think formula 1 tires (since you're a tifosi) - they are high-performance grip tires, but they last only a few hundred kilometres, unlike those of a road cars. There's always a trade-off. Wink

And expect to pay about $20 for a surface job on a ball.

How should I go about for proper caring?

In details please, I'm a total virgin to such matters.
