Networking problems in windows Vista

hi there! i got this problem with my computer when i just connect to my home wireless network or wired network. My windows Vista notebook will cut off from the internet automatically within 2-10 mins after connecting..during this time, wadever i type in msn, no effect, nor i can surf the web. But after another 5 mins-10 mins of waiting and refreshing of webpages, got internet liao… everything back to normal.. everytime when i use my laptop, this will happen.. very pek chek.. y is this so? my friend notebook which is using windows XP, and my 2 desktops which is using windows XP, when connected to my home wireless network, dont have this prob. oh ya..even when connected to hotspots also got this prob.. Hence, is this a defect of Vista?

You could say so.

If there's no globe on the 2 monitors (Internet icon near the clock), half the time it means your connections have died.

Anyway, Vista network connections sucks.
