T E M P O SG for VLC player u cant select the time u want to play... if im not wrong for .mkv file, u can also use Creative Mediasource player.
lifeisgood9989 SG try using the KMPlayer.. its the best mkv player I have come across so far: http://www.softpedia.com/get/Multimedia/Video/Video-Players/KMPlayer.shtml
abao SG Use CCCP. Or alternatively, download the following (which is really the core components of CCCP) FFDShow http://mirror01.x264.nl/x264/ffdshow_rev1625_20071119_clsid.exe Mkv Splitter http://mirror01.x264.nl/x264/MatroskaSplitter.exe Media Player Classic http://mirror01.x264.nl/x264/mpc2kxp6490.zip These will work well on pentium 3 onwards.
