Ye know,
I kinda agree with Chuan on this. Normally pro shops offer packages
which either includes a plastic/polyester ball, or a low end
reactive like the Scout, or Tornado.
A polyester to me is much more important to a hook bowler than a
spinner anyhow.
Both ways, for a rookie spinner, the only risk I can see is having
the ball backup (if not thrown fast enough) or hook (If spun
wrongly) a little bit more than a polyester would give you.
I mean, why not go for the slightly better ball at just a slightly
higher price? I think you normally pay about 30 - 35 bucks more for
the reactive package.
But hey, I'm looking at it from a hook bowler point of view, so
please correct me if I am wrong.
