Hi all,
If I want to back up my data, do I just copy and paste my entire drive into my storage? Some of my software are not in one single folder and I decided to just back up the entire drive. Will there be any problems after I re-installed the OS and store the data back into the computer?

Only documents will not face problems. Your programs will if you do so.

If you want to back up your programs + documents, using an imaging technology instead.

Symantec Ghost and Acronis True Image are two famous products out there.

You need a program like Acronis TrueImage or Norton Ghost...

A free one is DriveImage XML...
