Is there anyway to create an XP CD? cause last time i think i created wrong one, then went back to SP 1 -.- i'm using an Acer computer btw. heard that there's a shortcut to reformat? thanks!
ndmmxiaomayi SG Acer usually give some recovery CDs. If you don’t have, it’s probably in a hidden partition. You need to activate it by pressing some buttons during boot up.
maurizio13 SG If you don't have Windows XP CD; What operating system do you intend to have after you format? The recovery disc does not contain Windows XP for you to install.
maurizio13 SG Not if you format it. Recovery disc are not install disc. You need to have the existing OS for it to do recovery. In my previous workplace, my boss wanted to install Windows with a recovery disc but to no avail.
ndmmxiaomayi SG LOL, that's another issue then. Recovery discs reset everything back to factory settings, just like when you bought it. And nothing else.
