motoway SG Hi this is real bad.. our project was send in .docm format.. i tink sumone accidently typed the m there.. is there anyway i can convert the wierd file back to word doc?? Help appreciated.. i'm at my wits end..

ndmmxiaomayi SG Is the file saved? If yes, follow thoreldan's instructions to show the extensions of the file and rename it to .DOC. If it's not, save the file then rename it. And yes, you will need IE or any other browsers for it.
motoway SG ok.. the thing now is.. my fren saved the file.. and send through email... so now the onli source of the file.. is downloading the attachment.. so i downloaded the attachment den cannot open lor.. so.. now i open w IE when it promts?

ndmmxiaomayi SG Hmm... 2007 docs that I've come across used .DOCX extension... but well... this has macro... scan thoroughly before opening or you will open a virus...
