ndmmxiaomayi SG http://www.neowin.net/news/software/07/11/07/mozilla-firefox-30-beta-1 No official news from Mozilla yet, but it seems like it's leaked. Or somebody named the files wrongly.
LatecomerX SG It's confirmed in the recent meeting notes. http://wiki.mozilla.org/Firefox3/StatusMeetings/2007-11-06 Direct link to Download ...Opera.
ndmmxiaomayi SG http://developer.mozilla.org/devnews/index.php/2007/11/07/were-happy-that-you-digg-us-but/ Mistake lah!
abao SG ftp://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/nightly/1.9b1-candidates/rc1/ can still get them here. but they haben test finish yet. tmr they will test it.
ndmmxiaomayi SG According to some alpha testers, it has some improvements. But I'm not so sure. They are fanboys of Firefox.
abao SG You had a bad experience b4? I aso had some bad experience wif beta codecs. But most of the time they are much better than the stables. I stay clear of large beta programs though.
ndmmxiaomayi SG First beta could be out tomorrow or maybe on Saturday SG time. Anyone can confirm the news?
Fire Star SG Why the later the version, the more disk space it takes, more ram it uses, and more functions equals more complication. why can’t make a simple, clean, google-like program like utorrent, a simple efficient firefox.
ndmmxiaomayi SG It's the users... users want this, users want that... in the end, everything also put in.
abao SG maybe they should start releasing a parallel version that has few gimmicks and more resource friendly.
ndmmxiaomayi SG I would prefer if the remove the database way of handling bookmarks. It’s not really needed and open up the browser to more bugs, resource handling issues and security problems.
Gordonator SG yes me too. my firefox lags like hell when i open mulitiple tabs or visit certain websites. furthermore i'm using a old PIII computer.
