I need to compress 550kb JPEG to something much smaller

Need some help on how to compress a couple of scanned pictures (lowest quality came up to 550kb) for display in a MS Word doc.

Resize the picture. JPEG images are already compressed.

If you have Photoshop, save at quality 8 or 9.

Not sure whether you want to utilise it. Smile

I remember seeing one damn big and ugly logo printed on a container lorry - which was obviously made with a WordArt from Powerpoint.

Some goods transporting de. If my memory serves me well, it's "Transport Movers". They must have took less time to come up with the company name and the logo design than to deliver the lorry itself for logo printing. So cost-effective sia. Laughing

JPEG will lose colour infomation each time you overwrite the file.

Go to fireworks and optimise the picture. If not save as .png or resize. Smile
