laptop cant play game

Hi guys,im using a Dell Inspiron 1420. It is a new laptop that arrived just today but i notice i cant play fifa 07 on it.

The specs are :

1.8Ghz Processor
2gb ddr II ram
GeForce 8400 GS 128 MBDDR3
160GB HDD

I have set my power pan to the high performance plan but when i play fifa,the game speed suddenly slows down every 5seconds or smth like that. So its like,lets say u playing then suddenly will be slow motion,creating that matrix effect. I have checked the minimum requirements alr and my laptop should be able to play it well.Pls advice.

From Dell’s website, this laptop is using Vista. Are you using Vista?

Check again, maybe you need 2.0Ghz to play.

Try lowering the graphical settings for the game and see if performance improves.If not you can try patching the game because earlier versions of fifa 07 may not be optimized for VISTA.

checked already man,1.3ghz processor required only.

And yeah with resolution of 800x600 can play.

Yes. Use old driver. Latest version of drivers for Vista don't work with the game.
