language problem with pc

just reformat my pc.I'm using Windows XP Home edition
Somehow,some chinese characters cannot be read from my windows media player.As a result,they showed me rubbish for my song titles some symbols.Anyone knows why?PC can read chinese words from websites,i have the simplified chinese lang pack already.

Just need to rename them. Open WMP > Right click on the song > Edit

Or open WMP > Media Library and edit the songs there

select all the songs, right click and then rename Razz

control panel, regional n language options, advanced, change to chinese prc or chinese taiwan.
