Coaster? the thing that put under cup that
thing?
Yeah, exactly that.
Exact Size of that mighy be abit hard to find...mostly is
sell 1 big piece, then cut/saw into shape...
Actually, got sell is got sell, but hard to find in SG. now i'm
looking online and china got quite a big selection. even got glass
ones. those are awesome.
no offense to fellow singaporeans, but one bad thing about
living in a tiny island like this is that it's not easy to find
variety in the things you wanna buy.
in the end, most things have to be imported. if i'm living in
china now, i would have all the materials a doorstep away without
needing to pay exp. shipping charges.
*Actually ceramic is easy to drill,no need g-clamp
de..place on a piece of wood, step on it(wear shoe) then slowely
drill it...You can use those special drill bits but imo,no need de,
jus slowely do it, slowely applying pressure.
thanks, but wear shoe? the tile is 10 by 10 cm, so if I wear
shoe stand on the tiny tile, then i bend down 90-degree and drill?
:-D
lol, or maybe i can ask someone to step on the tile (maybe a kid
with small legs) and then i drill.
How are u gonna print pics onto a hard piece of thing ?You
use airbrush or stickers? How u print onto it?Share share lea..or
the blank tile coaster is not the coaster i said for put under cup
de???
the coaster (yesh, yesh, it's the same type u use to put cups on
top) can send to those printing shops to print. Like Graffiti
Imprint and Touch-And-Print etc.
they got those dye-sublimation machines which can also print
mugs and all that.....believe you've heard of it.

Just buy the goddam clock sets from Art Friend lar. They
are made of wood, and have a clear front, so you can do whatever
you wish with it. You don't have to drill the hole, its there
already for you to slot in the mechanism.
speaking of ArtFriend, it's quite a big disappointment.
took 1 day leave to go to Taka SC ArtFriend branch (10,000 sq
feet area) and although they sell a lot of things from various
categories, the selection isn't big.
as in "sell everything yet sell so few" and "jack of all trades
but master of none".
meaning, they sell a tiny selection of items from each category,
but the selection are few. so, if someone like me want to buy more
specialized items, u can't find it there.
i went there hoping to get some inspiration for my materials but
bleah.
for e.g: the clocks mechanisms you say. they sell only 1 brand
there, and only 1 - 2 models (almost the same) of the same brand.
worse is the price is very steep and i buy 5 of those at the same
price elsewhere.
and for e.g, they sell mallets (1 type), easels (less than 4
types), fish tank pebbles (only 4 different types). if anyone here
is looking for rare items, i suggest u source online.
artfriend is more like a general store for artists.....like what
the wet market is to housewives. u can get apples, oranges, pears,
cabbages at wet markets, but if u try to find something exotic like
phoenix's penis, or baboon's eye, or dragon's scales, then u can't
find any.

He/she KNS, does not mean that one of us need to KNS with

Since TS already bought the drill. Now seeking to change the
project materials. Lets not dwell on this matter
anymore.

$33.90 drill. knn.
