brand of 3.5 inch hard drive

i getting a new 3.5 harddrive for my desktop. so seagate, hitachi, samsung or maxtor better? (i dun really like maxtor...)

but hitachi seems cheaper for dollar / GB, is it good? coz i thinking of buying seagate but seems more ex but i noe the quality is quite good.....

I haven’t really used Hitachi, so I’m not so sure. Seagate is good enough. From what I know, Maxtor external hard disks are actually better than their internal counterparts, which is quite ironic.

The quality of all the products you posted are pretty decent…so if budget is tight, go for the cheapest one.

2.5” diff price de….... mainly cos 3.5” is 7200rpm while 2.5” is 5400rpm, ie: slower…. but by now standards, 80gb $99 is ex le….
