sometimes when i go to insert my USB drive into a newly
installed USB 2.0 port, the comp sometimes freeze, or it will
crash. if it freezes, i will have to press reset, if it crashes, it
will attempt to auto-reboot. a usb mp3 i have also can cause this
problem, but other usb devices (printer etc, no problems
there...)
Whichever happens, the result is the same, the com will reach the
point of trying to reboot, then the monitor goes into amber light
mode, then the comp will just make constant beeping noises and not
boot up.
powering off at the switch and back on fixes the problem.
anyone know what is wrong?
