tut4nkh4m3n SG is there a way to set a laptop NOT to shut down/sleep when i close it (meaning folding it down)? i want it to still be able to run normally as if the screen were up except with it down. do you get it, and is that even possible? im using an acer aspire
ndmmxiaomayi SG Double click on that green bar next to the clock. Click on Advanced Settings Select Power Button and Password tab Under Power Button, select No Action for When I close the lid Click OK to apply the settings
ndmmxiaomayi SG OK. Any Acer icons near the clock Or try this: Start (Replaced by Windows logo) > Acer ePM > ePowerManagement Or whatever Acer programs you have
tut4nkh4m3n SG yup i'm running on ePower Management and after clicking on it i see no option to disable the sleep/shut down option when closing the lid. mainly states on/off WLAN, bluetooth, card bus (what the hell is this?) yup..
ndmmxiaomayi SG Is there an Advanced Settings option? Or anything that hints that? I don't know why your Acer so different.
tut4nkh4m3n SG after a bit of digging thru i found it. i can handle from here. ePower management -> more power options -> change plan settings -> change advanced power settings messy, but got there haha thanks.
