date auto change to 2099 and virus programs closed

hey guys, need yr help here

my laptop's date keep changing to year 2099, and all anti virus programs will close, don't send messages keep popping up, closing several other programs. if i change back the year to 2007, everything will be ok, anti virus programs can be opened, but after a while, it will change to 2099 again

how to solve this problem? anyone knows? other than reformat... thx

It's not a virus, but a problem with your hardware. The wrong time and date wil cause your antivirus to shut down. You might need to buy a new battery soon.

Also go in your BIOS to check that the date and time is correct.

i went to BIOS to change the date and time during startup. after starting up, it will still remain at 2007 but after a while, it will jump to 2099.

Sometimes a reformat and reinstallation of Windows will solve the problem. Back up all your files before doing so.

Then monitor if the clock keeps changing itself.

If it still does, it's your hardware that's facing problems, nothing to do with viruses.

my fren has this same problem, it started at her laptop last week. then she reformat it. And today she transfered some files to me thru thumb drive. after transferring, her com start to have the problem, and soon after mine too. any possibility it is a virus? any removal tool? and wat u mean by change battery?
