ZL resets itself every once in a while

my zone alarm resets itself as if it was reinstalled (but wasnt) and asks me for permission to let it connect outside things like msn or games or etc why is this happening i think it is due to my hard disk because the other day it says there is some inconsistency in the hard disk then it checked itself

What are the results of the last disk check. If there is seriously something wrong, please confirm, with your hard disk then please replace it with another hard disk.

You may consider cloning the entire contents of your current hard disk and then using a cloning program to transfer the data over to the new hard drive.

Clone onto several CD-Rs preferably, the first disc should be a bootable one.
