WiNtEr'SkiLL SG Hi all, Currently i have a problem. . im using my IDE hard disk as my local drive, and now i have an extra SATA hard disk, i tried to detect it through BIOS but it cant be detected.. the hard disk is running but no detection at all. Any body can help me with it ? Mayi help me..? Power is ok.. perhaps SATA cable something wrong? or any configurations needed? Noted: IDE hard disk and SATA hard disk on the same motherboard, no problem rite? thanks a lot
WiNtEr'SkiLL SG my motherboard is not that old.. just bought in March. It supports both types of hardisk, just that my OS is in my IDE harddisk

ndmmxiaomayi SG I can't figure out what is going wrong. Since your motherboard BIOS doesn't have this setting, visit your motherboard website, download the latest SATA drivers and install. See if it detects. If it doesn't, download the latest version of the BIOS for your motherboard and flash it.
