Chose wrong ISP-Singnet

i am now posting this in the midst of having internet connection.
i dunno when my connection will go off again. maybe like jus now, 10 seconds later?

into my 2nd year with singnet already, used to have this problem too. but not as frequent as these days.
this has been going on for days already. every night, it will jus go off. then it resumes, then it goes off. affects my life and my games.

it is definitely not the problem with my modem/router.

i jus wanna say this to my ISP - PUI YOU!
i really regret making this choice.....

You might want to call them up, ask a technician to check your line.

Pacific Internet is more expensive than other ISPs. Besides, they're using SingNet's lines too. Laughing

That's right, they're pretty good, only drawback is the price. I think back then I was paying $60 per month for 1.5Mbps.

I heard they're packing up their bags soon. I don't know if that's true, though.

waiting for them to do it, transfer me to another ISP only mah.

I been with them for years already. Pay about 30+ for minimum line. I don't play intensive games so its Ok and never experience extremely bad slow downs. Not many issues with their serivce and most times their people can resolve my problem so I am ok.

I've been experiencing sucky connection too.

Used to be on Pacific Internet (yay) but my dad got it changed to SingNet recently. We're now using the mio router (2Wire 2700HGV).

Connection speed is supposed to be 5Mbps, but it feels slower than 1.5Mbps on Pacific Internet. As I'm typing this now, the key lights on my modem are all blinking and connection is super intermittent. I just called Technical Helpdesk earlier and was asked to remove the microfilter from the phone line and then to monitor the internet connection, which is now still bloody unstable. *mutters*

Maybe have to call technician to come and check loh! Rolling Eyes

And if the problem is with the modem and not the line, they want to charge me $20! And the modem was given by SingNet.. really don't know what to say man.

I can actually choose not to use their mio modem right?
