anyone got these files roaming around your documents?

its taking up my virtual memory badly.

how to delete them?

These files should not be running as processes in the background, so they can't possibly be taking up memory on your computer. If they ARE running as strange processes (check task manager), then they are most probably malicious and should be ridded off your computer.

Anyway, I see that ndmmxiaomayi is checking your computer in another thread, and hopefully he/she will tell you to update your computer to Windows XP Service Pack 2 as soon as possible.

the thumbnails are appearing transparent. and i cant delete them.

how to disable them from appearing? i have alot of these transparent files roaming around.

and i mean ALOT. they are really unnecessary.

Disable thumbnail preview and it will be solved.

Open My Computer, select Tools > Folder Options

Select the View tab.

Tick the Do not cache thumbnails box. Click OK, close My Computer.

A lot of files in Windows are hidden. They are important Windows files, not meant for deletion.

problem solved. i had to do the above AND enable do not show hidden files and folders.
