fifteen SG want to ask.. is there any side effect if i compress my hard disk to save space? i mean by right clicking on the c drive and click properties then check the “compress drive to save disk space” box. will there be any side effects? such as computer malfunction?
kenn3th SG if you suffer from hdd failure, chances that you will not be able to recover the data, higher than not compressing
chenc SG compressing your program files will cut down your drive’s lifespan. it is recommended that you don’t ever use the compress option, or only do it to those files you do not use often
