Linux lor... since it can run Linux also.

is there any way for a PC running on windows to access a linux file server?

If you mean download files, just enter in the website address will do. But if you mean access it to configure the server, I don't know.

wah!!! finally found something that mayi don't know!!!

Mr. Green

actually what i wanted is to access through LAN...

Access through LAN is easy lah.. remote access I don't really know.

Get the IP address of the server and telnet in.

Command is telnet IP address

Run linux in console mode (slackware). if you wanna map drives from windows, install samba. if not ftp can oredi.

read apache's documentation.
