Yes.
Unless you are using one the freaking old routers that doesn't
allow you to disable SSID broadcast.
By definition of old, it's when wireless is introduced and you get
this router.
The reason is because wireless use wasn't widespread, the people
who created it never thought of disabling SSID broadcast. It
doesn't cause problems anyway, so the option wasn't there.
But once it gained in popularity, there were problems. To disable
SSID broadcast option was then available.
