ndmmxiaomayi SG It will change automatically… ranging from every few hours to everyday, depending on your router’s settings and ISP.
wrexham SG hmm, so if i get banned on a CBox, i still can't tag after some time leh =/ no surefire way?
ndmmxiaomayi SG Turn on and off your router/modem. Either way, if they recognize your nick or email, it makes no sense changing IP address. You will get banned again.
wrexham SG hmm, i just took the power plug out of my linksys modem still havn't changed IP, since my ipconfig is still the same =/
ndmmxiaomayi SG Internal IP addresses will always be the same. External IP addresses, the one that servers detect, will not. http://www.dnsstuff.com/ - go this site. Right at the top of the page, it lists your IP address that servers "see".
MichelleTan SG This guy obviously is trying to spam nonsense on someone's blog chatbox (Cbox) but he tio banned. So he thinking of changing IP address to spam more nonsense again.
wrexham SG astute observation! hmm, mayi, http://www.dnsstuff.com/ will allow me to change my external IP then? soulwinner , whats t2? i know it's a canoe. ahahaha
mancha SG On this subject, If I use my laptop at different locations using wireless broadband connection, would my IP address be the same at these different locations?
ndmmxiaomayi SG Yes... because you need to turn everything off, change the hard disk, and turn on it again... which is just the same as turning on and off the router.
ndmmxiaomayi SG If you are using different accounts, yes. Same account, no. As for [email protected] once you log in and out... should have some changes to your IP address..
