Are you using SDRAM? From your problem, it sounds like a pretty
old system. Not too sure if 512 sticks for SDRAM exists, but 2
256MB sticks will do the trick.
If it's DDR or DDR2, then just go Sim Lim and get it. It costs
around $70 to $80 (depending on who you buy from and the brand)
