What's your power supply wattage?

There's a sticker on the PSU itself, and you might need to unscrew and take out the PSU before you can see the sticker.

erm i dun think the fault lies wif the power, coz it could work perfectly fine previously.

but aniwae..the sticker says..

AC INPUT(47-63Hz): 100-127V/8A, 200-240V/4A
DC OUTPUT: +5V/25A, +12V/19A, +3.3V/18A, -12V/0.8A, +5VSB/2A

MAX OUTPUT POWER : 300W

i dno which part of it is relevant so i juz copied everything.

300W is the power supplied... it looks on the low side to me, especially if your PC is rather new...

What's the specs of your PC?

Namely:

1) Processor (like Intel Pentium 4 2.5GHz)
2) Amount of RAM installed (like 256MB)
3) Graphics card
4) Sound card
5) Hard disk

1024mb pc4200 ddr2 (i think this is the RAM)

hard drive 160GB serial ATA 7200RPM

audio : integrated high defination audio, 7.1 surround sound ready

graphics : NVIDIA Geforce 7300LE 3D PCI- EXPRESS graphics wif turbo cache supporting up to 256mb memory.

i oso dno which parts im supposed to state. i juz copied this from a sticker i found at the side of the CPU Laughing

oh i forgot. previously when i had tt problem i changed graphic card. so currently im using ASUS Extreme AX550 256mb DDR memory

Your power supply is not enough… get at least a 400 watts…, given your specs.

Buy a new one.

That should solve the problem... unless your PC got other problems.

wootz! i juz tried switching on my com..and it worked!

but..i nvr plug in my keyboard n mouse, so i switch off, plug in, switch on agn then cannot work alrdy. as in, nothing appears on the screen -.-"""

make me happy for nothing. After a few mins i tried agn and it still couldn't work.

Does this means tt the fault rly lies wif the PSU?
