Windows Picture and Fax Viewer Hangs

Windows Picture and Fax viewer hangs when I try to preview certain images.

It just says "Drawing.. please wait".

Then it doesn't respond anymore.

But it doesn't happen in safe mode..

is this a hardware problem?

Copy the picture to an empty folder and open it.

I made a new folder on the desktop, then I copied the picture into the empty folder. I tried to preview it using the P&F viewer,

Hangs at "Generating preview..." Mad

How big is your file?

If it's more than 100KB, open it with MS Paint... the previewer is full of problems...
