Read the freaking manual please. If it says install drivers
before installing printer, then do so. Otherwise, nothing will
work. If it says plugged in printer, restart PC then install
drivers, then do so. If it says plugged in printer, install drivers
and restart PC, then do so.
Also, since the disc is from Acer, it means it has to be installed
on the Acer PC which you bought. All drivers are freely
downloadable from the printer manufacturer's site if the disc
doesn't run.
Any other issues, please post back all the steps that you've done,
right from the start to the end in order. Also state your printer
model.
