Refugees SG I just tried to update my router (linksys wrt54g) just now while updating half way my PC hang than i've no choice but to restart. After restart i won't be able to use the internet, why is that so? Off and on both router and modem many many times still don't help. tried pressing the reset key of the router also no help even try reinstalling the router ALSO no help. HOW?
Refugees SG Great to hear from you! Yesterday i reinstall my router and everything seems to be solve till i tried to access 192.168.1.1 to configure my router. Whenever i try to login to the site, i'll get disconnected and my router went crazy again. Then i've got to reinstall the whole thing in order to access to the net. Why ah?
ndmmxiaomayi SG Update Linksys as in software or the firmware? As far as I know, any new Linksys firmwares are very unstable. Not too sure if there's a rolling back feature....
Refugees SG As in i cannot access to the net again. The problem will be solved whenever i reinstall the router now the problem is whenever i try to access to 192.168.1.1 i will get disconnected and need to reinstall the router before i can get to the internet. Why is this so ?
Refugees SG Software. I think the problem of not being able to connect to the net is not bothering me anymore because it will always be fixed if i reinstall the router. Now the matter is about the 192.168.1.1 problem which i will get dc and subsequently need to reinstall in order to use the net again. Does it means i cannot access to 192.168.1.1 forever ?

Refugees SG If the router gone haywire, i don’t think i’ll be able to connect to the net after i reinstall the router. I think the problem lies at the router panel. Its getting me disconnected whenever i try to access it.
