The uses of modding the ECU is to 'sum up' and make all ur other
mods work together in the best harmony. It, if done well, should
give u the highest power + lowest fuel consumption. Remember tho,
that power and FC is mutually exclusive, so we r dealing with
relativity here.
Basically modding the ECU is always kept to the last step, after
all ur other mods like change extractor, change air intake, change
cams, change xos, change/remove cat etc etc. The ECU is then tuned
to make the best use of all these mods u have done.
Torque is turning force basically. Not sure of the scientific
explanation for it, but it is the 'energy' that helps u
accelerate.
