tailslide SG its amusing to see terms the ladies refer to when it comes to mods. i'm still trying to figure out wads a "lagging gear" or a "sprint booster"
lexibabe SG hey hey... a lagging gear means that the gear is lagging la.. no power when i drive and seems slow...thats my personal terms and its exclusive a sprint booster? or spring booster? i donno how its suppose to be spelt but as long as some one get the message, who cares?

nOrmalbOi SG Sprint Booster aka SB is a device designed to amplify the signals of the pedals in cars with Drive By Wire aka DBW systems. So basically u step less but power comes out more. But if dyno will still be more or less same power rating. Just makes it more responsive

nOrmalbOi SG its not a harder or softer thing. all DBW systems have this slight lag between stepping on the accelerator to actually feeling the car move. Merc drivers oso say merc have what the SB does is to quicken the response to normal mechanical linkage type accelerator's lvl (reportedly better, but dunno) how it does.. not sure, but i guess the accelerator would be always on.. always primed.. so maybe FC will take a hit
tailslide SG precisely. whatever it is, the sole purpose of which is to heighten the sensation of acceleration by planting more output with minimal throttle. does nothing at all to increase power or torque. if it did anything for performance, why dun i see this in race cars? simply put, its to cheat ppl's feelings.

Anti_AhSiah SG I believe in giving credit when credit is due. Dude, at last you start to make sense. Kudos. But one thing's for sure, Tuning does not mean better FC. In most times, for me at least, it maintained FC but I got more power with better AFR.
nOrmalbOi SG Thanks. After all these time, read more learn more liao mah heh. I've read some FD1s who went and did an E-manage Ult, they posted slightly better FC than b4 even with more sprints and stuff than b4 they put in the E-MU leh..
