When you boot up your laptop. HDD works the hardest.
At the certain point of your Hard Disk is faulty which is why when
you reach your OS startup/program loading. It freezes.
Apart from surfing, your Laptop OS needs to load those programs
which you've installed. And it takes the HDD and RAM to function
hard.
So it is likely your HDD.
Otherwise, might be fan not working. Overheat.
When there's no sound of the fan, you know lah.
You may try starting up in Safe mode with Network.
If the same thing happens. Quickly get a new HDD.
