Intel vs AMD for Vista

juz wondering if i shld jump over to AMD..

does it matter for vista?

If you getting dual core then Intel Core2Duo is ahead by a mile.

If you wanna stick to single core, get AMD.

Price to performance ratio, Intel's Core 2 Duo wins hand down over AMD X2.As for vista, if it is just running the OS, even a P4 can run it.Therefore the difference is minimal

don't get vista, the OS is not stable yet, watch for OEM to come out, cheaper, and furthermore

you have to ask yourself, whether you need such a powerful system or not,

even you have a dual core processor, can you fully utilise it or not

i preparing for vista only, my motherboard cannot tahan liao.

voltage is cranky, my harddrive oso very slow. here problem there problem.

ok i decided to get a cheap replacement for now.

so no dual core.

can someone recommend me an AMD mobo or/and cpu? i noe nuts about it. not even a tiny weeny bit.

Just pay abit more and upgrade to PCIE lah, agp is very obsolete liao.Moreover, the processor and mb supporting agp also quite limited nowadays
