Laptop Problem?

Hello everyone!

I have a bad feeling about my laptop. There's this small vibrating sound (it's not very loud though). But I can hear it when there's no other sound around me.

Everything is fine with my laptop for now. So my question is, is there anything wrong with it? Harddisk problem or am I just being too paranoid?

edit: it's more quiet in the past. I use a fujitsu S6220 256mb ram with 40 gb. It's used for 3 years.

I think you are being a bit too paranoid. Technology between 3 years is alot of different with manufactures releasing new stuffs very few months.

Vibrations may due to fans (nowadays devices are kinda hot), Hard disk (Hard disk rotation rate also higher) and CD-Rom drive (when reading a disc).

quite normal lah
unless it's like screeching (something scratching against something) then u have to worry

I would like to know if my laptop requires any upgrading in terms of ram? Does a 256 mb ram require any necessary upgrade to improve performance?

Everything is ok at the moment by the way.

im oso surviving with 256mb ram on my pentium 3

as long as i dun use any intensive apps, it's ok

jus have to be a bit patient sometimes

Computer fan's shelf life is around 2.5 to 3 years.
