How to replace laptop's RAM?

Not so familiar with laptop, I was wonder does it difficult to replace RAM compare to dekstop PC?

I'm afraid will spoil the laptop after open the casing.

depending which laptop u have.
normally it is at the back of the laptop.

u have to unscrew the cover, then put in the ram. its final position should look like the current ram in ur laptop.

I'm using Compaq V3000 series.

I use to DIY dekstop PC b4, but laptop is my first time.

i dun use it much....more for storage..but my bro wanna play game....

he installed fm07 then its like comp always prompt low virtual mem...

i install too many programs the comp will be v laggy and all.

If you know how to do it, then do it... but most likely your graphics is integrated, hardly any chance to upgrade it unless you rip the whole laptop apart.

For RAM, it shouldn't be a problem, only thing is getting the right RAM. Usually you just need to unscrew the back of the laptop and you will be able to see the RAM. Quite a few shops here do sell laptop RAM, remember to check your laptop manual for the right type of RAM.
