Really depends on what's your main needs, whether more of video-filming or picture taking...

Me using an old Sony DCR-PC120 MiniDV 1.55 megapixels handycam with bluetooth network function which also has digicam function...

You can look at Sony's DCR MiniDV series but pricing around $499...

If not, JVC and Sharp are also good and prices also equally competitive...
