looking at the old topic u started.. i suggest u go to FF8 forums and post your problem… u will get the answer faster since the people here seldom ff8 or no problems with their ff8

That was my brother's computer. Nolw my computer cannot detect it's own graphic card. You guys are hella dumb.

Answer questions first.

1. Motherboard brand and model number out

2. Whether or not drivers are installed

3. Version of DirectX installed

4. Your own computer's graphics brand and model number out

Next, open Device Manager.

Right click My Computer, select Properties. Select the Hardware tab.

Under Device Manager, click on the Device Manager button.

Make a note of devices that has a triangle or circle beside it.

From here. I presume that your motherboard has no integrated graphics. If you have, please disable it.

To check the version of DirectX installed, go to Start > Run and type in dxdiag

Select the System tab.

Look all the way down. You will find something like DirectX version. Tell me what version is that.

Make sure your drivers are not out of date.

That means the graphics is on-board = on the motherboard itself, it's not a graphics card.

Since your motherboard model doesn't say so, I assume that's the case. Try updating your drivers.

have you tried to install older version of your vga driver, sometime the latest drive doesn't mean its stable, try to reinstall your older version of the driver, maybe it will works, Rolling Eyes

u don't have to worry about the onboard vga card lah, have you turn off use older version of driver for your vga card, maybe it will work lor

when you are install your driver from the cd, go to the folder that induct driver then select those older version lor, and before that uninstall the newest version of your driver............

that time i install my nvidia geforce 6200, i install the latest driver, then in the end, i can't play mp3, but i can't view video, i thought its my codec issue, but in the end, i spend one hour to realize its my driver issue -_-*, not all the time, the latest driver is stable mah.......
