Windows Update Slow/Hang

i installing the windows update for my lappy den at this part the installation juz stalled. but nothing hung.

Installing Remote Desktop Connection (Terminal Services Client 6.0) for Windows XP (KB925876) (update 8 of 11)...

den i click cancel, it says Canceling Updates, but machiam never move.

should i force it to close? i scared it may corrupt installation.

or wait longer? Neutral

go to the apple shop.. it's not expensive..

go look at the Mac Mini..

It will never end. Just restart your PC. Or like Bear says, get a Mac. At least Mac updates are not that frequent. Laughing

and weird thing is its not bugging me to install IE 7.

Next time if you encounter this problem again, you can download directly from another website, which host the update files.

And if you are bugged by windows asking you to update, you can disable the automatic windows update notification, from Run--> MSconfig.
