Printing A2,A1 sized posters with a D50,possible?

Hi all, need to do this advertising project, and am using my friend's D50 camera. Its 6-mega-pixels but I need to print something of A2,A1 size. Anybody whom has any solutions for me?Software or anything? Or do I simply shoot it in RAW?

serious? in school the print job for a single A2 is bout 15, A1 is bout 22. Will I be able to get such pricing?Thanks

i stretched a JPG file and it turned out alright.

Hey, I’ve done the editing and all that with Photoshop, my file size is now 2000X3008 and file size 334KB. Is it still possible for me to print A2 or A1 sized posters?

why is it at 334KB?

my 1800X1200 images are 700+kb.

Could be plain background with simple text.

if doesn't consist much of a photo. then printing at any size won't be much of an issue.

6.1MP is more than enough for an A1/A2 printout. Make sure you keep your resolution at 300 dpi.
