I stopped buying sony hardware since they destroyed lik-sang ....

If you donno the story..

This sony sued this very popular parallel import company to the ground and the method they use is so underhanded. They sued the poor little company in almost every country in EU knowing that the small company have no means to
put up a sustainable defense. So lik-sang choose to wind down and REFUND to their customers rather then go into $$$ wasting series of law suits

It isn't reported in Singapore. Either it's the work of government, or Sony feels that there isn't enough Singaporeans being affected by it (hint: don't want to pay)

Reading this Lik-Sang company's history, it seems to run into lots of trouble with the law. For selling mods that allow pirated goods already infringed copyright laws and for selling things that hasn't been allowed for sale in certain countries break some other laws as well.

But for Sony's case, it's totally unreasonable.
