How to download mail from POP3 mail account? (Urgent)

Hi guys,

I usually try to get my email from my singnet email using Microsoft outbox...
I just formatted my HDD yesterday, and when i receive my mail, i only received those latest ones... can i know if there's anyway i can get back those that i have back then? I did not delete them.... I have extremely impt emails there...

eh now u configure oso no use liao
cos u oredi dl to local machine (means no more stored in server)

if it's work email u can ask ur IT guy to chk if there is backup emails

FI is very cruel but she is right. Your old mails are most likely lost. One last hope is to log in to your email account from www.singnet.com.sg. Don't get your hopes up... you will probably not find your old mails there.

What you can do now is to make sure that it does not happen next time. One way to make sure that it does not happen next time is to use gmail.com

With gmail.com, you can download your email to your PC and still have a copy that you can see when you log in to gmail.com

What you do is this,

Register a Gmail account.
Download the "auto config" file and run it on your PC
Log in to your Singnet account, www.singnet.com.sg and forward all your mails to your gmail account.

There are a lot of other benefits like spam mail filtering.

Actually you can set ms outlook to backup and save on your hdd, but since your format it, its most likely just as gone even if you already did set it to do that. Laughing
